Project Overview
A multi-year training initiative in Baidoa equipping young people with practical peacebuilding, leadership, conflict-resolution, and community-mediation skills.
In partnership with Somali Youth Vision (SYV) and ARC, ONKOD implemented the Youth Peacebuilding Ambassadors Training Program in Baidoa. This multi-year initiative has combined theoretical and experiential learning for cohorts of 30 young people each year since 2023. It focuses on peacebuilding, leadership, and conflict resolution, equipping participants to lead community mediation and youth-driven peace initiatives.
